Choose image

A watermark here is pixels painted onto a new image. It discourages casual copying. It does not lock the file, and someone can still crop or cover it. The preview is the file you download.

How to use it

  1. Drop the photo.
  2. Type a line, or choose a second image as the logo.
  3. Set opacity, size, and tile, center, top, or bottom. Download.

Good to know

  • A tiled mark is harder to crop away than a single corner.
  • Logo files use the same image types as the photo.
  • Keep the opacity high enough to read and low enough to leave the photo usable.

Questions

Is this a copyright lock?

No. It is a visible stamp. It does not encrypt the file or prove ownership by itself.

Can I use a transparent logo?

Yes. PNG and WebP logos keep their own transparency while they are drawn.
