Compress a PDF
Choose a sharpness and a JPEG quality. The savings are measured. Pages become pictures.
Drop a PDF
PDF up to 25 MB and 40 pages · nothing is uploaded
Choose PDFCretivkit draws every page and embeds those pictures in a new PDF. That often shrinks a scan or a photo-heavy file. A PDF that is mostly sharp text can become larger, and you will no longer be able to select the words. The page reports the real sizes either way. Password-protected files are refused.
How to use it
- Drop one PDF of up to 40 pages and 25 MB.
- Set the render scale and JPEG quality. Higher scale keeps smaller type more readable and makes a bigger file.
- Download only if the measured size and the preview of the tradeoff are acceptable.
Good to know
- The side shows the first pages of the new file, up to six. Open the download to check small text.
- Forms, links, and bookmarks are not copied.
- Files over 40 pages must be split first.
Questions
Will the text stay selectable?
No. Compression here means a picture of each page.
What if the file grows?
The status says it is larger and by how much. Keep the original.
