Rotate an image
Use the quarter-turn buttons or the angle slider. Empty corners can stay transparent or take a color.

Choose imageQuarter turns swap the width and height. Other angles expand the canvas so the corners of the photo are not cut off. A color fills that new space unless you ask for a transparent PNG.
How to use it
- Drop the image.
- Turn it 90°, 180°, or 270°, or set an angle.
- Choose whether the empty corners are transparent, then download.
Good to know
- Transparent output is PNG even if another format is selected.
- A large rotation can be scaled down if it exceeds the working limit, and the page says so.
- EXIF orientation is already applied when the image is opened, so you are rotating the picture you see.
Questions
Why is there a white triangle?
The photo is rectangular and the canvas grew to hold it. Pick transparency, or crop afterward.
Does 90° lose quality?
Right angles are redrawn from the original pixels. A custom angle uses smoothing.
