The words are written in light gray at the start of the document. If the file already has a header, the same line is added there too. This is not the diagonal picture watermark from Word’s Design tab. Pictures and the rest of the writing stay in the file. Old .doc files are refused.

How to use it

  1. Drop a .docx file.
  2. Type a short line.
  3. Download the .docx and open it in Word.

Good to know

  • A header that the file did not already have is not created.
  • Nothing is uploaded.
  • The line is cut after 80 characters.

Questions

Will it sit behind the paragraphs?

Not like Word’s built-in watermark. It is a light line in the document, and in an existing header.

Can I use Arabic?

Yes. The letters are written into the Word file as text.
