Convert an image to JPG
Set the quality and the color that replaces transparency, then download the JPEG.
Drop an image to save as JPEG
JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF · up to 25 MB · nothing is uploaded
Choose imageJPEG is the file most forms and older tools accept. It has no transparency, so Cretivkit paints a background behind the image before encoding. The percentage on screen compares the new file with the one you dropped.
How to use it
- Drop a JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF.
- Pick a quality from 40 to 92 and a background color.
- Download and check the measured size. A PNG can become larger or smaller depending on the picture.
Good to know
- A result that is larger is labeled larger.
- GIF animation is not kept.
- The new JPEG does not include the original EXIF data.
Questions
Will the background stay transparent?
No. JPEG cannot store transparency. Choose a color that matches where you will place the picture.
Can every browser do this?
JPEG export from canvas is widely available. If encoding fails, the page says so instead of offering an empty download.
